Some of you crafty people out there may be suffering from not having your own website! Sick of hearing customers ask for your web address? This may be the answer.....

Candice Crafts can host a page dedicated to you and your wares. You can choose what images and text you have on the page and you can edit the information as often as you like via email.

"What's the benefit to me" did you say? Well, these days you're nobody unless you have a presence on the internet, even if its only a small space on someone else's site. Many crafters already have a presence on blog sites rather than invest the time and money on their own site, and rid themselves of the hassle too.

"What's in it for Candice Crafts?" Of course, the more people who are out there promoting this website, the more traffic it will get. This added traffic will also benefit everyone linked to it.

"What's the catch?" I hear you ask! Well, obviously we'll need to cover our costs by charging each member of the Crafters Gallery £5 per year. Fees will be due on 1st October every year, regardless of when you join - so it might be a good idea to make the most of it and join now! Email or call me (details on the Contacts page) and we'll take it from there.

If you would like a link to your site from here all we ask is that the link is reciprocated. You supply me with your logo or a sample image and any sub text you want to add and we'll do the same for you. The link will appear on the Gallery Page.

There will be no charge to you for this link, provided our link appears on your site. All you have to do initially is contact us by email (see the Contact page).

This newsletter is aimed at Craftspeople and our customers alike. Its purpose is to inform of forthcoming events, special offers, etc. Therefore we would like your contributions...

Perhaps you're a Craft Fair Organiser and would like to advertise your events for the next quarter to both stallholders and customers. All you need to do is email the details and we'll do the rest. Of course, if it's an event already booked by Candice Craft Emporium, your event will already be promoted in the Events section.

Perhaps you're a Craft Supplier with a special offer to shout about. Mention it here and everyone will soon know about it!

Perhaps you're a Crafter with a new line you're particularly proud of. Why not promote it here ahead of its official debut. Send us an image and we'll add it to the newsletter.

As each newsletter publication is the first of a month, we would ask that you sumbit your copy at least 7 days prior to that date.

Candice Crafts is planning to run Craft Workshops and is currently testing the water to see if there is a demand for this service...

Craft Workshops can include Card Crafts, 3D Glasswork and Digital Photography. Candice is a trained teacher and has many years experience in all three genres. Her approach to teaching is friendly and open and she allows you to learn at your own pace.

Workshops are expected to run on weekday afternoons for around 3 hours maximum. Fees will be around £5 per hour per person. There will be discounts on offer for early bookers who then invite their friends.

Locations for the Workshops are currently being sought and may include:
All Saints Centre in Rotherham town centre
Herringthorpe United Reformed Church just off the Stag roundabout in Rotherham
Elsecar Heritage Centre

Candice Crafts is keen to establish which of the Craft Workshops is in demand and whether attendees would be travelling by bus or car. All enquiries will be dealt with on a personal basis. Please email or telephone to register your interest (see Contact page).

Featuring the usual Village Gala attractions, including:
Kiddies’ Rides, Go-karts, Dog Show, Traditional Games,
Five-a-side Football Tournament, Sports Day, W.I. Cake Stall,
Tug-of-war Competition, Refreshments, Beer Tent, Archery
and much more...

Craft Fair at Elsecar Heritage Centre
Small admission fee. Open 10am to 4pm both days.
The perfect opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping!

27th November - Rotherham Minster
Victorian Christmas Craft Fair
Free admission. Open 10am to 4.30pm
Featuring a wide range of hand crafted items in addition to offering refreshments, traditional games, Santa in his grotto and live brass band music. The stallholders will be wearing Victorian dress and it promises to be a lovely atmosphere.

Candice Crafts is launching a Gift Voucher scheme...

Vouchers will be available in any denomination (£5 and above) and can be purchased online or at Craft Events. They can be redeemed against goods, workshop fees or craft stall fees.
